To be eligible for an Zero20, you must:
- be an individual or be borrowing jointly with one or more other individuals - you cannot be a company or a trust;
- own a freehold property, or seek to buy a freehold property, in a metropolitan area in mainland Australia;
- not require the support of a guarantor;
- secure the Zero20 with your owner occupied property which must be in an acceptable location and of an acceptable type; and
- have a 5% deposit to put towards any home purchase.
